REAL CEDAR wood has been known, used and marketed for a long time to such an extent that it can be said without a doubt that in many countries it has been over-exploited. It has occupied the first places among the exportable woods in many countries where it is found naturally and is a species of priority interest for the Reforestation in Nicaragua.

GUAPINOL
Guapinol, also widely known as Brazillian Cherry, is one of the most sought after precious woods due to its exceptional hardness and striking appearance. Their colors can range from orange and red to darker shades of purple and brown, depending on light exposure. The texture of the Guapinol veining is typically interlocking.

POCHOTE
As it is a durable wood, which hardly undergoes deformation and is resistant, although light for its density, it becomes an easy wood to work with, allowing a smooth finish with a velvety touch. It is characteristic of the pochote wood, an abrupt transition between the sapwood and the heartwood.

MALE CEDAR
The sapwood is pinkish and the heartwood is an elegant reddish brown. The wood is heavy, interlocking grain, medium luster and texture, and inconspicuous growth rings. Air dries slowly with moderate damage, and when cut does not produce a characteristic odor. it is in the Mahogany family and has a wonderful light reddish brown color.
